The objective of the Membership Committee is to add new and appropriate members to the WAM organization and to keep current members and guests informed of activities and events. In this role, the Membership Committee is responsible for disseminating information to all interested parties, responding to inquiries from current and potential group members, and notifying the Board if there are any unusual questions or requests. The Membership Committee also works closely with the Program Committee to ensure the speakers and topics are represented appropriately in the messages to members. The Membership Committee is also responsible for tracking down people who committed to go to an event, but did not attend, and letting them know that they are responsible for the event fee.

The Program Committee's objective is to determine current trends, products, and characteristics in the investment management environment which are of interest to its members, and to select a suitable speaker. Th committee is responsible for selecting and for arranging a speaker for each event, to organize any audio-visual equipment needed by the speaker and to coordinate this with the host location as well as to announce the speakers and to moderate Q&A. In addition, the committee is responsible for coordinating and distributng any hand-outs prepared by the presenters.
